Hi Tobias,
thanks for your answer.
So when I understand you correctly, the template3 modules are wrongly installed during OpenCms setup, if I uncheck the checkboxes "Alkacon OpenCms Template3 & Demo Content", "OpenCms Development Demo Module & Demo Content" and "OpenCms Release Notes".
Is that right?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards
Kai

Hi Kai,
the v8 modules are all part of template3. They contain the resource types used within the demo content. If you are not using any of these, you wont need these modules.
Greetings, Tobias

Hi list,
when installing OpenCms 8.5 without the Demo-Modules there are some Alkacon V8 modules installed.
The only content of these modules is a workplace_ru.properties and sometimes a messages_ru.properties file.
Can anybody tell, if those modules are necessary, and when, what for.
