[opencms-dev] Default format inside xsd and single selection for categories

Hi

Is it possible to define a format for OpenCms Date field inside xsd?

I need to set a default value for a date field with italian format. Now I get 
english format MM/dd/yyyy

If  use a categorywidget, can i force a single selection on one only category 
(no multiple choice)?
