[opencms-dev] IE10 Problem: Opencms 7.0 <> FCKEditor

There are two reasons why an editor is not loaded in a new version of a
webbrowser:

1) Each editor has a config file

/system/workplace/editors/[editorname]/editor_configuration.xml

There you can define the user agent string of the webbrowser which are
accepted for this editor. So, you can play a bit with them to "allow"
this editor for the new browser version

But this leads to nr 2....

2) The editor itself

The editor itself might not be compatible with the new browser version.
For example, the FCK editor only supports the IE up to version 8.
In IE9, it can work if the browser itself is running in a compatibility
mode, but not in its native settings. So maybe this could work for IE 10
as well (not tested so far).

So what you can try is to modify the user agent accept strings in 1),
this could work.

Kind regards,
Michael
