[opencms-dev] Permissions for Publishing

Hi all,

 

I am currently experiencing some difficulties when trying to restrict the
publishing permission. I have tried to deny the publishing permissions to a
user group in a given site, and yet, the user is still able to access the
“publish” button and the “direct/scheduled publish” contextual menu option.
I have also tried to restrict it for a certain user, to no avail.

 

Actually, I am trying to create an “Editors” group who should not be able to
publish their changes. That would be done by another user group (e.g:
Publishers).

 

My installation is a v.8.5.1. Have any of you succeeded in disabling the
publishing function for a set of users?
