[opencms-dev] Indexing/searching remote content

Hi,

I have an employee database/application which has a REST-API, and through
this api I display parts of it in an OpenCms-based intranet.

Is there a way to make the OpenCms-Search index the remote content ? Or to
query the remote datasource (on the fly) while performing a search ?
