[opencms-dev] Custom widgets in latest versions

I've been messing around with Custom widgets in the latest build, and they
seem to be a disabled for most and load out of GWT based on class name now.
What I'm trying to do is write a custom widget that extends the select
widget, but dynamically populates the options depending on what's being
edited (rather than pulling from the configuration string).  The code that
builds these options though looks like it's now
in org.opencms.ade.contenteditor.client.widgets however.

Am I missing something or is there a new way of implementing these widgets?

Any help would be be appreciated.
