[opencms-dev] urls ending with a dot

hi all,

does anybody know how to redirect from a url ending with a dot like http://www.bla.com. to http://www.bla.com? adding http://www.bla.com. as alias to opencms-system.xml does not work.
we're using opancms 7.5.4.
