Hi Gianni,
if you are using OpenCms >= 8 you can use a SOLR query in your contentload tag.
E.g.:
<cms:contentload collector="byQuery" param='fq=type:binary&fq=parent-folders:"/sites/default/YOURFOLDER"&sort=lastmodified desc&rows=10'>
...
