[opencms-dev] Idea: OpenCms Meetup Group on meetup.com

Hello together,



I'd like to discuss the idea behind creating an OpenCms Meetup Group on
Meetup <http://meetup.com>, which could help to bring OpenCms developers,
operators and users together and might be held online through Google+
Hangouts or offline in local cities in different countries. If held offline
in Cologne for instance, we could invite all other members to participate
through the live Google+ Hangout (Online Meetup) for 30 to 60 minutes for
instance.



There might be many reasons for the need of such a group, such as getting
in touch regularly and share insights about running projects or future
plans or the OpenCms Market Place, etc..



And the most important issue from my point of view is the need to spread
the word OpenCms to become more successful as it is today. How often such a
meetup could be held, depends on its need and on you of course. I guess
such meetups could help also to have more participants for the next OpenCms
Days Conference and engage us to suggest more innovative ideas to keep
OpenCms as the best CMS on the planet.



And now I would like to know, if someone would like to support or extend
this idea and help to organize this kind of meetups on Meetup in the near
future. If you'd like to support this idea, would you like to be a member,
an organizer or a sponsor or all together? :-)
