Objet : Re: [opencms-dev] OpenCms 9 custom widgets
Hi!
Looking for a solution to migrate my old widgets, I went through the recent topics.
Seems that a lot of people have problems with Custom Widgets in 8.5. and 9:

Maybe someone knows how to do it and gives us an hint :-)

Does somebody know which method builds the content of ADE popup of the
LinkGalleryWidget?
My guess was A_CmsGalleryWidget#getDialogInitMethod(), but when
debugging into, it never stops at the breakpoint in this method.
I urgently need to rework our old custom widgets done for OpenCms 6,
because they "break" the new Acacia editor completly.
The edit form switches to old editor.
And the example in org.opencms.dev.demo.customwidget is rather poor ...
Best,
Tobias
