Oggetto: [opencms-dev] Editing workplace users which were set up before version 9.5 not possible in 9.5. Role problem.

Hi,

now, this is for real :)

I have an OU below the main OU and a user which belongs to the users group of this OU.
In OpenCms 9.5 it's not possible to edit this user, nor delete him.
He also can't login anymore.

Error message when trying to edit the user or his roles:

_____________________________________________________________________________

Error while filling the list "User Roles".
Reason: Error reading all groups of user "SomeOU/the_user" with the IP-address xx.xx.xx.xx.
Reason: Group "SomeOU/RoleGalleryEditor" was not found.
_____________________________________________________________________________

What can I do to add the needed missing roles to the OU?

The listing of available rules in the OU (Role Management) does not show the new rules.
So this might be the problem.

But what is the solution?

It's also not possible to create new users in this OU or to delete the OU and start from scratch.

Any help or hints much appreciated, especially from the mighty alkacon people :)

Kind regards, Bernd
