[opencms-dev] Crowdfunding for OpenCms

Dear list,

last week I got in contact with Alkacon about the possibility of
crowdfunding the adaptation of the OAMP/Calendar v8 to the last OpenCms 9.5
and the improvement of some performance issues. In a response email,
Alexander Kandzior declared their openness to such financial model.

Has anyone in this list accumulated experience in crowdfunding open-source
projects? Ideally, after finished, the sources should be opened again to
the community -- possibly after a latency delay, for competitive advantage,
to make contributing more appealing to the backers.
