Hi

You can either define a new element in the schema definition to hold the alt text for the image or you can use the title element for the same. Once you add the element it will appear during content creation, you have to update the formatter to use that attribute as image alt in the <img> tag. Hope this answers your query.

How to give Alt text to image in content editors. As i have added image to article from content editor and there is no alt text field where i can specify alt text for the image.
