I checked the example at /system/modules/com.alkacon.bootstrap.schemas/schemas/blog.xsd

I have a doubt from where the value is coming? The default value says Please edit the blog entry text. It is not mentioned any where in the xsd.

<default element="Paragraph/Text" value="%(key.bootstrap.blog.default.Text)" />

look at the demotemplates e.g. in
/system/modules/com.alkacon.bootstrap.schemas/schemas/blog.xsd
there it is working, so you probably doing something wrong.
