[opencms-dev] Customizing carousel element

Hi,

I want to customize the carousel element. my requirement is i want a carousel with thumbnails. i need suggestion how to achieve this functionality.
As per my understanding i tried to make changes in jsp file which is in formatters folder. but i failed in achieving the logic
