Some time ago I tried setting up a new virtual interface dedicated to JLAN
OpenCms.  But I found that the setup was not reliable. In particular when
connecting from Eclipse to the JLAN share on the virtual interface. I did
not investigate further at the time. If I'll get it working I'll share for
sure :)

too. How did you get it working without disabling windows sharing services?
 


I was interested in this question, too but for the moment I stopped the
server service in Windows.
Not nice, because normal shares are not possible while doing this.

There is a thread on this I started a couple of weeks ago in the Alfresco

I'm running OpenCms 9.5.2 on a Windows 7 server. Today I decided to
establish the JLAN Service in OpenCms.
 
It ran fine when copying a few signle files from withing the Windows FS into
the Workplace (via the exported OPENCMS share).
 
But copying a - not very large - directory tree with some images (800K to
1MB) the transfer stalled and timed out.
 
Has anyone observed similar behaviour?
