What mechanism creates the .templates folder under .content?
At what point in time during a web site creation under 9.5.2 is it being 
created? Is it created by some automatism or has it to be established 
manually?

I have a site (that has been built with help of some of you experts) but 
when following the steps I never come across the point where this 
.templates folder is created. The working site has it. My site "in statu 
nascendi" doesn't have it and I wonder what I might be doing wrong?
