[opencms-dev] link validation tool gives so many broken links

I found that link validation (internal links) gives so many error 
(broken links) that it is hard to find out if one of these broken links
is actually effective on the most recently published contents of a site.

So many broken links exist also due to outdated xml-content files so 
that this tool seems to be meaningless at the moment.

Can anyone confirm that my consideration is right?
