[opencms-dev] defaultproperties for images in property dialog

Hey Filip,

yes, I add a new property “Description-en” for that exploretype.
As I said, this works in the upload dialog, but not when editing the properties directly on an image.

The expected behavior would be the presentation in older OpenCms versions.

Hi,

try to check opencms-workplace.xml config and search for this node:

<explorertype name="image"…

But i didn´t use this option, so you need to try it☺

Subject: [opencms-dev] defaultproperties for images in property dialog

Hey List,

I’ve configured a defaultproperty “Description-en” for images (in opencms-workplace.xml).
In the upload dialog the new default-property will appear. So far so good.

But the property dialogue in CMS shows more properties than for this type defined.

[cid:image001.png at 01D12694.E13865C0]

It seems to present a set of properties that are always displayed (Title, Description, Navigation Text, Keywords).
The defined “Description-en” property for the Type also appears, however, behind the Navigation Text.
In addition, the properties that are created with Sitemap- (Article View, Social Bar) and Module configuration (Has Backlink, Track View…) appears.

What needs to be done, that only the properties appear that are defined for the type?
I've already tried to control the properties with the Sitemap- or Module configuration, however, the images are in a folder by type imagegallery.

Any idea how to solve this?

Regards, Patric
