Hi Thomas,

as i remember it isn´t possible to configure it in OpenCms. But your videos can be statically exported on the filesystem and accessed via proxy (Apache). Here you can set-up byte-range requests (maybe it´s default option).

Subject: [opencms-dev] Partial Content

Hello,
when placing e.g. mp4 files in VFS and trying to download them, some browsers (especially Safari) need a support for „HTTP 206 Partial Content“. The tomcat server i’m using (and which is running as well OpenCMS) and it's default HTTP servlet is supporting that (i’ve tested it).
Unfortunately OpenCMS is not supporting this HTTP mode to send segments of data.

Is there anything to configure/tweak to enable partial content in OpenCMS ?

Thanks A lot
BR
ThomasS
