Hi Arno,

 

they all look just fine. I missed the first message so how does a client accesses the tomcat?

With a nginx/apache reverse proxy in front?

As you modified context.xml I believe you are using a Tomcat 7.x+ - correct?

do you mean the cookie-content with the changed context.xml or without these changes?

 

I deleted the changes in the context.xml, started the workplace-login.

 

In firebug i found these 4 cookies ( i don't know if these are session cookies):

 

Name: COMPANY_ID

value: 10154

domain: .test.de

path: /

HttpOnly: HttpOnly

 

Name: ID

value: //a long string

domain: .test.de

path: /

HttpOnly: HttpOnly

 

Name: OpenCmsOuFqn

value: /

domain: opencms8_two.test.de

path: /system/login

HttpOnly:

Name: OpenCmsUserName

value: aEntw

domain: opencms8_two.test.de

path: /system/login

HttpOnly:

Can you post the content of the session cookie from the client browser?

This will show if the session cookie context path is set properly.
