[opencms-dev] problem with users and roles

Hi to all,
i have some questions on users and roles:


   1. i have read on documentation that "once you have assigned a role to a
   user, you can remove that user from the users group without loss of role.
   This should usually not be necessary, but if you do so, keep in mind that
   the user is added to the Users group again on change of role."

This is true if the user has an Editor role for example but not if he has
as role Author. In this last case, if i remove user from the users group, i
lost his Author role. Why?
