Hey Tobias,
just a second thought: I'm not sure if the method i suggested works because of the UUIDs. They stay the same that way and I don’t know what happens if you import a resource with an existing UUID and a different target path. that might not work. maybe try with one resource first and see what happens.
For cloning sites we developed a tool, but that was about 8 Years ago, done by a collegue who’s no longer at the office, so I’m not sure what state the tool ist in. If you find no other solution I may have a look if I find the tool and check if it’s still working with current OpenCms versions.
