Hi Allan.

It depends on your usage.

For example, I have one request (Detail-Request for a Resource-File implemented in a formatter.

The formatter will be used in html as formatter and in ajax-requests.​

With ajax request all the html code will be stripped.


And for some other situation I have some jsps directly in sites folder and subfolder.

Hi Bernhard.

I read the documentation. But it was not clear where I am going to put this REST output. Example: In a formatter, in a pure jsp in  the module folder, in  /sites folder ?

I would not like to expose the /system path to the client.

You can use the json thinks in jsp to create your own json responses.

And you can access solr via ajax-calls.


Sometimes it is usefull to read the documentation ;-)
