Did follow the readme ?
Did you :
1. Stop the web application (probably the tomcat instance where your opencms is running in)
2. Enable the upgrade wizard
To do so, set the property
wizard.enabled=true
in the config file WEB-INF/config/opencms.properties.
before you tried to update ?
If at least a part of the update has run you could check /WEB-INF/logs/update.log to see what happened.
And http://localhost:8080/opencms/update/ can need to be something like http:// <http://%3cwww.yoursite.com%3e:8080/update/> <www.yoursite.com>:8080/update/ depending on your setup
8080 must be the portnumber where your tomcat application is listening to. So change it when needed.

Onderwerp: [DKIM] [opencms-dev] Update from OpenCms 10.0.1 to 14.0 - wizard does not start.
Hi All,
I want to update from OpenCms 10.0.1 to 14.0.
So I extracted opencms-upgrade-to-14.0.zip to my web application directory (opencms.tld and opencms.jar had been replaced)
After starting the webapplication and trying to call http://localhost:8080/opencms/update/ I always get the message
HTTP Status 500
OpenCms is not properly initialized!
Please make sure that the OpenCms setup wizard has been run once and is disabled now.
The wizard doesn't start.
Anything else that needs to be configured to get the wizard running?
BR, Tobias
