Hello Tobias,
we have our editors with role Workplace User and to allow them publishing with broken links, we have configured in opencms-workplace.xml option „allowBrokenRelations“ to true (under node „default-preferences“). We currently have OpenCms 11.0.3.
Best regards,
Pavel Rath

Hello Tobias,
this is not a bug, this is the intended behavior.
Content editors should not be allowed to publish broken links, therefore this is blocked in the publish dialog.
I do not see any use case, where publishing a broken link is something you want to have in a active website, so why do you want to do this?
Kind regard,
Michael

Hi all!
we currently have the following setup:
All users have the project manager role and then are member of different groups to edit different parts of the website.
If users now want to publish pages with missing resources, they are not allowed to do so - the publish button is missing:
(see https://documentation.opencms.org/opencms-documentation/the-opencms-workplace/publish-dialog/index.html#errors-and-warnings-5eee5cda with button being available)
Is there a possibility to enable publishing despite broken links without usage of the role "VFS resource manager"?
Because when adding them the role "VFS resource manager", the permission settings set on parts of the website will be ignored.
Is this a bug?
BR, Tobias
