[opencms-dev] Missing Plus in Collector after update to OpenCms 15

Hey Tobias,
the first part I already discovered, so now I can add new PressReleases.
But with the content contained in the detail containers it’s still a problem.
I'm not 100% sure if you need to select an "Element view".
Depending on the selection in the .config of your OpenCms module it might be necessary.
I only use one ElementView (Inhaltselemente) and it’s used as default. Explicitly defining it in the module and sitemap configuration didn’t change anything.
Detailcontainers changed as well there is now a subfolder for each language or "ALL" if you use property "locale.independent-details=true" (see method CmsDetailOnlyContainerUtil#getDetailContainerLocale) :
Where is this property located? I couldn’t find it defined anywhere on my system, so I guess a default is used.
When I create a new press release the detail content is stored in a subfolder /.content/PressRelease/.detailContainers/de/, but no content is read from there.
To test it, I copied all detail containers to a folder called „ALL“, but it didn’t help.
Still, thank you for your suggestions.
Kind regards
Kai

Hello Kai,
updating from 10.0.x ?
We had the same problem (while updating to OpenCms 14)
Have a look at the .config file.
The value for "availability" changed. You probably would need to change it from what it was before:

Hey there fellow OpenCms developers,
I installed a new OpenCms 15 environment and imported content that was exported using OpenCms 10. Now all my collector pages are missing the plus-sign to add new content.
OpenCms 15, option to add content missing:
<PastedGraphic-1.png>
OpenCms 10, option to add content present („+“):
<PastedGraphic-2.png>
Also, the detail pages don’t display the content contained in nested containers. The configuration is identical. Both collectors on OpenCms 10 and 15 have editable=„true“. Also the content configuration both in the module and in the sitemap are identical.
Does anyone have any idea what could have gone wrong here? Is there any special configuration that has to be done in OpemCms 15?
Thank you for any hints!
Kai
