Hello Atle,
in general, this kind of error appears when the schema file that defines
the structure of your content has an error. Normally this is usually
caused by some syntax error in the xsd file of your content.
However, with the update you have posted, it appears that the content
type you want to create with the new function does not refer to an xsd
at all, but to the folder
"/system/modules/org.opencms.base/formatters/". Which would be a
misconfiguration of your content type.
Can you please post a screenshot of the resource type app in the
launchpad to see how the content type is defined:
- Launchpad -> Resource Types
- Click on the context menu of the type you tried to create with the new
function and which caused the error
-> Select "Edit resource type"
-> Post a screenshot of the dialog here so we can see who this type is
configured.
