Atle, Kai,

this is indeed strange. As you know I have tested your xsd that you 
posted here and they all worked on my system here, i.e. I could 
drag&drop contents of those into the website.

Maybe you can post your module here that contains xsd, formatter and 
module config.

As you say that all Mercury content types do work and that own do all 
not work, so the general OpenCms setup, DB and all libs should be ok, 
otherwise Mercury contents would not work, too.
