[opencms-dev] Opencms in tomcat9 behind haproxy

I'm seeking for directions to configure OpenCms behind an haproxy server. It is not clear to me how to handle SSL for example.
Whether haproxy should pass requests from 443 to 8443 and how servers have to be configured as well in server.xml
as in opencms-sites.xml?  Also telling between static and dynamic content. Is it documented somewhere?

 Any help welcome.
