<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">I have the basic authentication turned off in tomcat and using a login.jsp to a authenticate user when the user tries to access a restricted part of the site.</FONT></P>


<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">This works perfectly in Tomcat but currently I am configuring Apache and Tomcat so that the static content is served via Apache.</FONT></P>


<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Everything works fine except the redirection to the login page when trying to authenticate.</FONT>
