What I do:<BR>

install opencms on the first machine. Stop the application server. Copy the exploded opencms folder to the other machines, fire them up: voilà.<BR>
I also set up indexing as a scheduled job so that each machine rebuilds its own index every 30 minutes (it's quite a dynamic site).<BR>
