<P><FONT SIZE=2>I'm also new to OpenCMS(ver 5.x.x), and I have run into this problem as well. I cannot provide good explanation as to how to correct this, but I would suggest that you take a look at "Change Owners", "Change Groups", and "Change Permissions". By manipulating these values, you can usually correct access-errors. You'll probably need to be logged-in as "admin" to do this. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2>I don't think these access-errors point to bugs in OpenCMS, but rather they point to a lack of understanding of how a site should be setup. What I mean is, who(adminstrator, projectmanager, etc) should create folders, templates, jsp's, etc, such that permissions to those objects are properly assigned. If this is understood and the site setup properly, then users(i.e. content-editors, etc) won't get errors when trying to work with their tasks. I have read some documentation on the basics of permissions, but nothing yet that answers the question "How do I use this to build my site?", or "What are some strategies to use when building my site?". And so I am "stumbling" alot too. </FONT></P>
