<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">We are experimenting importants performance problems with our Opencms / SQL Server 2000 enviroment. The navigation in the Opencms Administration System and the Web is extremly slow. </font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">We measured the difference between the same installation with SQL Server and MySQL and MySQL is at least six times faster than SQL Server. In some web pages with SQL Server it takes 30 seconds or more to receive results of the web page.</font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Eduard, Steve: I can see that your enviroment is very similar as our enviroment so I'm wondering if you have the same problems of performance in your installation or if you solved them. </font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Eduard: You mentioned some changes in the Code ¿Do these changes solved the performance problem? If so, ¿It would be possible that you send us those changes? You and Steve are the only ones that we know that use OpenCms / SQL Server enviroment.</font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">We're now trying now to transform every query of "</font><font size=2><tt>mssql/query.properties" </tt></font><font size=2 face="sans-serif">file in Store Procedures of SQL Server as it was suggested by </font><font size=2><tt>Geoff Winkless in the post:</tt></font>

I have installed OpenCMS 5.0.1 of MS SQL Server. I had to modify some <br>
code and properties files. If you want I can send you the working WAR <br>
file. In installs without problem. The only thing you may need to do is <br>
to create additional indexes on the tables after you get some <br>
statistics. Other then that is works fine for me.<br>
