Hi Jehan,<br><br>The database connection string (and therefore the type, port, user and password) is stored in the /WEB-INF/config/opencms.properties file of your installation.<br><br>Changing the database without reinstalling would be possible changing the connection data in the beforementioned file, but you would need the file to point to another database that had already been populated with all the tables (and data in them) of a previous OpenCms installation, so it doesn't make much sense.<br>
