
<html><head></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; ">Hi,<div><br></div><div>When using detail pages in OpenCMS 8.0.1, is there a way to access the single element properties/xml from the template JSP? </div><div><br></div><div>The reason I ask is that detail pages render articles do not seem have the ability to set meta tag information. The meta tag information is set in the template JSP and the properties/xml contents for the article are at the element level. When using detail pages, all the rendering is handled automatically but it doesn't appear that there is the ability to set these essential tag values unless it's set for all articles (i.e on the detail page itself).</div><div><br></div><div>These tags are essential for SEO and are needed on a per page basis.</div><div><br></div><div>The detail page mechanism is superb and is great for removing the need to duplicate container pages but not having the ability to set SEO properties for each detail page URL is proving tricky for our content editors. </div><div><br></div><div>Thanks</div><div><br></div><div>Matt<div><div>
