Hi all,

I have a customer that have been using OpenCMS (version 7.5.3,
MS-SQL Database) for over a year. During this time they've
made a lot of content editing using all available
functionality (editing, moving, deleting, undeleting,
siblings, etc), and thus generating a lot of versions for
every resource.

When I look at the change history of some of the resources, I
notice that there are some gaps in version numbering, which I
taught were supposed do be strictly sequential. Example: if
the online version for a given resource is 10, the history
list should display versions 10,9, 8, 7 and so forth. However,
what I'm seeing is something like 10,8,7, i.e, the 9th version
is somehow missing from the listing.

Question: Is this expected behaviour ? In what circunstances
can those gaps occur ?
