<DIV dir=ltr>Hi all,</DIV>
<DIV dir=ltr> </DIV>
<DIV dir=ltr>as there doesn't seem to be a possibility to disable visibility of the ade controls for all users or alternatively remove ade controls for containerpages - is there any "containerpage like" content type in opencms that is not based on ade? I really like the idea of containerpages but I don't like ade features as we want to edit page contents in the backend only.</DIV>
<DIV dir=ltr> </DIV>
<DIV dir=ltr>Regards,</DIV>

<DIV>Hi Andreas,<BR><BR>if you don't want your users to be able to edit any content, you could prevent them from viewing your pages in the offline-project. The login box in template 3 always switches to the offline project, that is mostly done for demonstration purposes. If you edit "/system/modules/com.alkacon.opencms.v8.login/formatters/all.jsp" and exchange "Offline" with "Online" in line 13, users that login will stay within the online project and won't see any direct edit controls. <BR>This way editors can still open the pages from the workplace and use the ADE features.<BR><BR>Greetings, Tobias<BR><PRE class=moz-signature cols="300">--
