Hi Praveen,

I was not able to reproduce the error.

I created a new image gallery as described, so I have an empty
folder of resource type "imagegallery" in my workplace.

Please describe how you tried to upload images with the wysiwig
editor since there is no way to edit an image gallery in a wysiwig
editor.

Even if I added the imagegallery folder to the navigation, OpenCms
just threw an error when trying to access the image gallery in ADE.

So I tried some random content (article) from the demo content and
added an image to the paragraph. In the opening dialog select
"Folders" and select your "image gallery" folder from the resource
tree. In the dialog you can upload images and they get stored in the
correct folder (e.g. /sites/default/mywebsite/images/)

Even if I add some image in the wysiwig editor (v8article -
paragraph - text) I was able to upload an image to the "image
gallery" folder (e.g. /sites/default/mywebsite/images/)

Of course you can always upload images to the image gallery in the
workplace by selecting "upload" icon from the workplace toolbar.

You can alternatively right click the image gallery folder and
select "Open Gallery" from the context menu. In the opening dialog
window click "Folders" and go to your image gallery folder (e.g.
/sites/default/mywebsite/images/) (unfold th tree structure
by clickin the "+" icon left to the root folder "/" and upload
images to your folder.
