For me it would be important to continue the archive can be
downloaded as mbox files. Because I often search older posts in my
local email client, after a clean import of the mbox files.<br>

is there any chance that the OpenCms mailing list will be moved to
Google groups?
I find that the <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://lists.opencms.org/pipermail/opencms-dev/">http://lists.opencms.org/pipermail/opencms-dev/</a> is not
really that good for searching old topics, and nabble doesn't seem to
index/work well anymore.
Just a suggestion; I'd pretty much prefer Google groups for such.
