I'm an absolute newbie to OpenCms and am trying to get to grips with
it.<br>
I couldn't find any tutorial on the web for folks like me but
luckily I came across the tutorial from Nick Prosch @ codecentric.<br>
<br>
However, I keep running into problems and things don't quite work as
they should.<br>
For example, if I want to change the element language of a page<br>
<ul>
<li>I only can select "Englisch", "Deutsch" has "[-]" at the end
(does that mean it's not available?)</li>
<li>if I select "Deutsch [-]" the text block selection is empty</li>
<li>if I the click on the "Element" icon to activate the "Text"
element I get an exception, see attachment</li>
</ul>
In my workplace my html files are shown to be of type xmlpage. Is
that correct?<br>

As far as the tuorial goes, I don't get the navigation from the page
template in my pages. What do I need to do?<br>

PS: I'm using OpenCms 8.5.1 on Windows Server 2003 R2, MySQL 5.6,
Apache Tomcat 7.0<br>
