used by Java just counts the number of channels.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">one of our customer recognized that some jpegs, when the cropping or resizing feature (via cms:img tag) of OpenCms is used, get a red color tone or chroma (sorry I am not sure if that is the correct translation for the
german word “Farbton”) applied.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">It is like somehow some red color is added to the picture or a red mostly transparent layer is placed on top of the image.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">We think it has to do with the settings used in the photo editor (e.g. Photoshop) when saving the image, but currently couldn’t find out which settings.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
