<p>I wonder if there is some configuration setting to switch from http to https for "third-site" ressources like webfonts, scripts, etc.</p>

<p>All my sites are https-only, but some of the links generated by opencms are still http - especially the ones for webfonts, scripts used for the workplace and editing features.</p>
<p>This results in several browsers blocking this "unsecure" content which then results is incomplete pages.</p>

Yes, there is an apache running in front - the coupling is done via mod_jk. But I don't understand your phrase "rewriting" in this context. In my situation it would mean to rewrite the URLs inside the HTML and Javascript - so the apache would have to parse
and change the content of the https response.<br>
