Hi Ramón,

I would give a few short notes of which feature are of SEO value. Unfortunately I do not have time at moment to go into detail.

In our projects we use meta mappings to get seo relevant information to the right place:
https://documentation.opencms.org/opencms-documentation/template-development/formatters-and-their-configuration/meta-mappings/index.html
This is mainly template development.

When relaunching a website we heavily use the aliases feature to redirect page which no longer exist to new urls.
Using sitemap.xml is a great feature to list all pages of a website which are not linked by each other.
Both features are described here: https://documentation.opencms.org/opencms-documentation/template-development/search-engine-optimization-seo/

We did a special implementation for one of our customer. We created a module which is only visible for content editors. It has to be placed on every page. It consists of a seo relevant keyword list, which can be used by content editors. The list has to be filled by the editors itself and should help to keep track of which seo keywords are already used on this page.
Other CMSes like Wordpress have plugins which generate such keyword lists automatically from the content placed on the page.

What you have to take care of is to prevent duplicate content. You can use the canonical tag for that. As URLs in OpenCms are of requestable like www.example.com/test<http://www.example.com/test>, www.example.com/test/<http://www.example.com/test/> and www.example.com/test/index.html<http://www.example.com/test/index.html> and getting the same page content you have to make sure to tell search engines which one is the canonical URL. Take into account, how OpenCms generates navigation links and how the sitemap.xml generates URLs.

I would very much appreciate, if you could share your thoughts and experiences as well as soon as you have any results.
Take care.

Best regards
Kai
