Theoretically, all you would need is a JDBC driver, which could be the JdbcOdbc bridge in the case of Access. However, much of the data access code in
OpenCMS still looks pretty MySQL-specific. And then, have a look at the databasesetup.txt file, which creates the tables for you. You would have to adapt
that to Access, which may not be easy or even impossible.
