[opencms-dev] Problem with installation

Hello,

since I still can't start OpenCMS (and I liked it so much ;-)), I give you a
detailed report of my installation:

- OS is Suse Linux 7.0
- Installation of Servlets and MySQL is successful (Servlet IsItWorking runs
fine). For MySQL User root I have a password, which I input during the
OpenCMS installation.
- Servlet path is /usr/local/httpd/servlets
- Installation of OpenCMS 4.1.45 seems to be ok (except an ignored error
with the CmsPdfLauncher, see below)
- path is /usr/local/opencms_4.1.45, User root, group root
- When I start OpenCMS with the java command, I get an "unknown error while
initializing launcher "CmsPdfLauncher". Ignoring
- when I login as Admin admin, execution of 'readFile
"/system/workplace/action/start.html"' results in
[Resource]:/system/workplace/action/start.html ID: 1428 ParentID: 905,
Project=1, User = 2, Group = 3 : Access=rwvr------ : Resource-type=2 :
Locked=-1 : length=168 : state=0

When I try to start OpenCMS with
http://mymachine.com/servlets/opencms/system/workplace/action/start.html
the first error I get is

ajp12[1]: cannot scan servlet headers (500)

To me it seems to be a problem either with the version of the servlets
(1.1.2 installed) or with user priviliges.

Can anybody give me a hint to solve this problem? I'd really like to become
an OpenCMS user! (Especially when I read the positive feedback in this
mailing list ;))
