Hi.
I'm sorry if this is either (a) obvious, or (b) something of an FAQ (I can't find an FAQ or an archive of this list anywhere).
I wish to install OpenCMS on my machine running Redhat 6.2, with Apache as follows:
Apache/1.3.6 (Unix) tomcat/1.0 PHP/3.0.16 mod_perl/1.21 mod_ssl/2.2.8 OpenSSL/0.9.2b
I need Tomcat for other systems, but am running mod_jserv rather than mod_jk
I seem to be having real problems with the installation. Ignoring for a moment the Tomcat issues (which I can probably deal with, although others' experiences would be interesting to hear), does anyone have a "sample install" available, i.e. some sort of "idiot's guide" showing actual file locations, configurations, etc.? Unfortunately I can't read German, so I'm limited to the "quick install" information at opencms.com which is a little unclear in places.
Any and all help very gratefully received.
Regards
Silas Denyer
