Hi Simon,
first you should try to use the generic resource broker. If some
sql-statements don't work with your db you should extend the classes in the
generic package and implement these statements to fit your needs.

Betreff: [opencms-dev] DB2 or MSSQL7
Hello All,
I am currently evaluating the possiblity of supporting other databases such
as DB2 and Microsoft's SQL 7.0/2000. I need consider these two in my
evaluation for a hosting environment...Oracle is not yet an option.
Am I correct in assuming that I will have to implement a resource broker
myself? Or what is the idea with the genericSql resource broker...can I get
somewhere with this?
Can anyone give me any infos on this before I dive into the code myself?

Simon Wilks
