Hi Jeroen,
naturally I look first into the archive, before I ask a question here.
I need some assistance around our unresolved problems with OpenCms to
analyze them. Sometimes the certainty already helps that the same thing
functions with another developer or evenly also not. Unfortunately I
received no responses to my last emails. Therefore I would be very grateful,
if you perhaps could answer the following questions:
1. Do you use templates with more then one editable content area? Does ist
work together with the element cache? If we enable the element cache in
opencms.properties (default) then the mechanism will not work on all of our
test systems. If we disable the cache, the mechanism will work but the
system slows down.
2. Do you know a way to let automatically appear the editable bodies in the
body selection box of the WYSIWYG-Editor (when a new page is created)? I got
no response of the question whether this is possible ore not.
3. Are editable content areas allowed in a subtemplate, ore are they only
allowed in the Mastertemplate?
3. In which way did you develope own java-classes? Do you know a trick which
let opencms automatically reload and use changed java classes?
Many thanks in advance!
Oliver
