[opencms-dev] Simple Mail Form with OpenCms 4.4.6

I failed to implement a simple email response form using OpenCms 4.4.6 with
com.opencms.defaults.cmsmail . Does anyone have demo-code or a kind of
how-to?
In general terms: where do I find more documentation material? I already
checked the official webpage opencms.org, but didn't find anything.
